Home Exercises to Help Flatten Tummy
Many people have problems with their tummy fat. One of the most common problems women face it getting rid of post pregnancy tummy bulges. Other advantages of doing your exercises at home are saving travel time and not being shy about your appearance in gym clothes.
Home exercises that target the stomach can also be done without the use of expensive gym equipment. You can utilize ordinary household structures, furniture and items to help with your home exercises. Some effective home exercises for tummy fat may need the use of lightweight equipment but these will not cost much and can be easily stored when not in use.
Stomach crunches are very effective in toning stomach fat. You will need to be careful when doing crunches because you might hurt your back. An alternative to crunches can be done in bed. These home exercises can be done when you wake up before you get out of bed by lying flat on your back with your legs straight out. You must try to lift your legs and then bend your knees towards you stomach. Repeat the exercise several times before getting up from bed. You may even grip your headboard bars to help you try and lift your legs during the repetitions.
Other home exercises for your stomach can be done using a stool. Sit erect on a low stool and let your legs hang parallel to the floor with the backs of your knees touching the stool seat. Lift your legs from the knees down and at the same time lean back until you feel your stomach muscles tighten. For this home exercise, you can either grip the stool seat or keep your arms crossed over your chest. You can do as many repetitions as you want for this exercise.
For both home exercises, do as much repetitions as you can. Repetitions are the key to melting fat away and toning your muscles. It would also be advantageous for you to start slow and with fewer repetitions until your body has gotten used to the exercise. As with all other home exercises, you must have some form of warm up or just a simple stretch before doing the proper home exercises.
