Fitness - Improve Immune System, Blood Flow and Reduce Stress

In this day and age there are many studies that are being done on health and fitness and diet and exercise. It seems as if almost all of our past findings have been proven to be incorrect. Now, it is as if all we once new to be true is being contradicted. However, there is a consistency that seems to be proven in one area of research regarding health. That is the link between the human immune system and exercise.

With all of the studies and research that has been done in this area, there is definitely a connection. With a moderate regular exercise regimen, it is safe to say you can increase your immune system and maintain it. This does not mean a compromised or diseased immune system will become healed. This is merely stating your can aid in a healthier immune system with proper exercise.

Exercising can assist in cutting down on stress levels, which in turn can directly benefit an individuals health. Although, in many studies the findings are not always clear. In many studies the finding have not always supported other finding, more or less they seem to completely contradict what the other found to be true in regards to some of the details. However, it is apparent in the majority of conclusions and findings that a regular exercise routine can positively benefit the body by limiting the effects of stress.

One of the consistent findings in studies done over the past thirty years or so seem to agree on how stress levels can effect the overall health of an individual. In these findings it seem to be true that individuals that are subjected to elevated levels of stress on a continual basis can suffer from more health related issues. For example, more frequent colds, feelings of fatigue, and complications with their digestive tract.

It is apparent that exercising can minimize stress by giving an individual a way to release the nervous and anxious feelings they may be experiencing. Some researchers are confident in saying that exercising switches the focus of a person from their daily stresses to their workout. Therefore minimizing the stress, or redirecting a negative into a positive.

Blood flow can be improved through regular exercising. In turn, an individuals cardiovascular system can be strengthened. The toxins that are found within the body are escorted away from the individuals organs and muscle tissues. In doing this the endocrine system and the kidneys are also maintaining themselves and continuing to work properly. The antibodies within the body are able to circulate and better assist in fighting off unwanted germs that cause colds as well as removing the germs from the individuals body.

Common knowledge shows us when we exercise our temperature rises, causing us to sweat. When we sweat our body is eliminating fluids in our body in order to bring the body temperature back down to a normal temperature. The same is true when we are sick. Our body raises it temperature and will try to sweat out unwanted germs, such as a cold or flu. The body is also attempting to kill the germ that is trying to make the individuals body its new home.
